Data Deletion Instructions

You can ask TAB India to permanently delete your account and associated personal information. The process is free and starts with one email.

Start a deletion request

How to request deletion

    Send your request

    Email info@tabindia.org with the subject “TAB India Data Deletion Request”.

    Identify your account

    Include the email address or mobile number used for your TAB India account and say whether you want your entire account or specific information deleted.

  3. 3

    Complete verification

    We may ask you to verify account ownership. This protects your information from unauthorised deletion requests.

  4. 4

    Receive confirmation

    We will acknowledge your request and confirm when deletion is complete, normally within 30 days.

Information covered

Your account profile, saved UG or PG counselling profile, saved preferences and enquiry information will be deleted where it is associated with your account.

Limited retention

Records required for legal, tax, fraud-prevention or security purposes may be retained only for the required period. De-identified analytics may remain because they no longer identify you.

Requests related to Meta

If your request concerns information associated with a Meta or Facebook interaction, mention “Meta” and the relevant account details in your email so we can identify it correctly.
