Prof. (Dr.) Javin Bishnu Gogoi is a highly accomplished medical academician and administrator, currently serving as the Principal of the Autonomous State Medical College, Hardoi, Uttar Pradesh. With over 23 years of extensive teaching and administrative experience, he has made significant contributions to medical education and institutional development.Dr. Gogoi completed his MBBS (1998) and MD in Biochemistry (2004) from Assam Medical College, Dibrugarh University. He has held key academic positions, including Head of the Department in various government medical colleges of Uttarakhand, Principal of Paramedical College (SGRRIM&HS), and Deputy Medical Superintendent at GDMC, Dehradun.A recognized expert in his field, Dr. Gogoi has been an MCI/NMC assessor and has played a pivotal role in the establishment of government medical colleges, including those in Dehradun and Almora. His academic accolades include receiving the “Fellowship Award” at AMBICON 2023, authoring a biochemistry manual, publishing 30 research papers, and guiding multiple MD and PhD students.An active participant in national and international conferences, Dr. Gogoi has contributed as a speaker, chairperson, and organizer for over 50 events.
