Key update: The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has issued an official notice dated concerning pending security-deposit refunds under UGMAC-2024. The notice identifies candidates whose bank-account details have not yet been received and asks them to submit the required information by .

What the notice confirms

BCECEB states that security deposits paid by candidates during online counselling for seat allotment are ordinarily refunded online to the same bank account and through the same transaction mode used for payment. For some candidates, however, the refund remains pending because the Board does not have the required bank-account details.

For UGMAC-2024, the Board has published Annexure-A, titled List of Candidates Who Have Not Yet Shared Their Bank Account Details for Security Money Refund – UGMAC-2024. The annexure contains 1,979 entries and records the NEET roll number, candidate name, and security amount shown for refund. Candidates should check the official annexure rather than relying on name matches alone.

Who needs to act

This notice applies to candidates whose names appear in Annexure-A of the BCECEB notice. The Board has given these candidates another opportunity to provide the account information required to process the pending security-money refund.

Deadline

The required documents must be sent by 22 September 2026. The notice gives a date but does not specify a closing time.

Documents and information to submit

According to BCECEB, the email submission should include scanned copies of the following:

  • Bank-account details of the candidate or of the candidate’s father or mother;
  • Passbook or cancelled cheque relating to that account;
  • Hard copy of the online application form (confirmation page); and
  • Transaction details.

How to submit

  1. Open the official notice and check whether your NEET roll number appears in UGMAC-2024 Annexure-A.
  2. Prepare clear scanned copies of the required bank and counselling documents.
  3. Email the documents to helpdesk.bceceboard@bihar.gov.in.
  4. Ensure the documents are sent on or before 22 September 2026.
