Change summary: New timeline event announced for the tentative Stray Vacancy Round of Manipur Medical e-Counselling 2026-27.

The Directorate of Medical Education, Government of Manipur, has notified that registration, fresh seat-choice filling and choice locking for the tentative Stray Vacancy Round will run from 22 October 2026 until 5:00 pm on 23 October 2026.

The round covers State Government Quota seats for MBBS, BDS and BASLP courses at RIMS, JNIMS, SAHS, CMC and RDC Guwahati, as well as Management Quota MBBS seats at SAHS.

Previously registered candidates do not need to register again, but they must submit and lock fresh choices. Choices submitted in earlier rounds will not be valid for this round. NEET-UG 2026 qualified candidates who did not register in an earlier round may make a fresh registration, subject to the applicable eligibility requirements and prescribed fees.

The Directorate states that candidates who do not complete choice filling and locking within the stated period will not be considered for stray-vacancy allotment.
