Confirmed from the BFUHS notice: Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Faridkot, dated 3 September 2026, has published a draft schedule for the second round of online counselling for MBBS/BDS admissions under NEET-UG 2026 in Punjab. The document says the schedule is prepared in continuation of the counselling process and in accordance with the MCC schedule for states.

What changed

This is a newly published draft second-round timetable. It sets out dates for fresh registration, willingness submission, vacancy display, merit-list stages, choice filling, allotment processing, provisional allotment, objections, and joining. The notice does not state that it revises an earlier Punjab Round 2 timetable.

Fresh registration window

Fresh applicants may submit an application/registration from 3 September 2026 until 5:00 PM on 5 September 2026. BFUHS specifically states that an applicant who is already registered does not need to register again.

Who should act

  • Fresh applicants: complete registration within the stated window.
  • Previously registered candidates seeking Round 2 consideration: submit willingness for participation by the applicable deadline; willingness is mandatory for Round 2 participation.
  • Candidates participating in Round 2: submit fresh course, college, quota, and category choices. The notice says Round 1 choices will be treated as null and void.
