UP NEET UG 2026 Debarred Candidates List
The Directorate General of Medical Education & Training, Uttar Pradesh has issued an important notice regarding candidates who have been debarred from participating in UP NEET UG 2026–27 counselling.
The action applies to candidates from the UP NEET UG 2025–26 counselling session who either failed to take admission after being allotted a seat or resigned from an admitted MBBS/BDS seat under the conditions specified in the applicable Government Orders.
Candidates Debarred Due to Non-Reporting
As per the notice, candidates who were allotted MBBS or BDS seats during the Stray Round or Special Stray Vacancy Round of UP NEET UG 2025–26 but did not take admission after allotment have been included in the debarred candidates list.
- 38 MBBS candidates are listed as not reported after allotment.
- 13 BDS candidates are listed as not reported after allotment.
The applicable policy states that where a candidate is allotted a seat but does not take admission, the deposited security money is liable to be forfeited and the candidate may be barred from participating in the UP NEET UG 2026–27 counselling process.
Candidates Debarred Due to Resignation
The notice also includes candidates who had taken admission during UP NEET UG 2025–26 counselling but subsequently resigned from their admitted seats before completion of the course.
- 13 MBBS candidates are listed in the resigned candidates category.
- 7 BDS candidates are listed in the resigned candidates category.
As per the applicable Uttar Pradesh Government instructions referred to in the notice, candidates leaving an admitted seat before completion of the course can be debarred from the admission process for the following academic session.
Total Candidates Listed for Debarment
Based on the four tables published in the notice, a total of 71 MBBS/BDS candidates have been listed for debarment from the UP NEET UG 2026–27 counselling process.
Medical Colleges Mentioned in the Notice
The official candidate lists include allotments or admissions at several Uttar Pradesh medical colleges, including Rohilkhand Medical College & Hospital, Bareilly, Varun Arjun Medical College, Shahjahanpur, Teerthanker Mahaveer Medical College, Moradabad, National Capital Region Institute of Medical Sciences, Meerut and Prasad Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow.
Registration to be Blocked
The Directorate has also instructed the concerned technical authority to ensure that candidates included in the published lists are prevented from registering for UP NEET UG 2026 counselling.
Important Note for Candidates
Candidates who participated in UP NEET UG 2025–26 counselling and either did not report after allotment or resigned from an admitted seat should carefully check the official debarred candidates list before attempting registration for the 2026–27 counselling session.
Candidates should rely on the official DGME Uttar Pradesh notice for their individual debarment status.
